Hello, my name is Marshall Luttmerding. I am 11 years old and this is my first year in the Armstrong Beef 4H club. The only activities I got to do this year was Weigh-In day and Public speaking where I received first place in the junior division. My steer’s name is Barry. He is an Angus X. Barry was born and raised on our farm in Spallumcheen. He was 803lbs on weigh-in day and on June 1st he weighed 1310lbs. Barry was raised on hay, beef grain ration, corn silage and good old-fashioned green grass. I am very happy with how he turned out and I am really enjoying learning about cattle. Barry will be sold on July 4th through an online auction that lasts one week. Please visit the site and consider bidding on my steer or one of the well cared for 4H steers you will see.
